Good read. I recommend it.
Very interesting if you're a Stones fan. I'm now over half way through it and it seems to be stalling a bit. A little too much emphasis on rowdy crowds and the difficulty of getting IN AND OUT of venues and hotels. (We get it Bill, Move on) Still, a very good read. I just ordered, "Rolling with the stones ". It's supposed to PICK UP where this one leaves off. I'm not a snob but you have to Overlook the Grammer, sentence structure and spelling, etc. But that just adds to the refreshing nature and honest direction Bill takes in this book.

Wonderful detailed book. Really interesting read.
A nice personal look at the RS. Not particularly great photography, but a nice glimpse.

"Stone Alone"........great title, ... says it all.
Has a lot of behind the scenes stories that add so much more to the history behind The Rolling Stones. Good read.

Excellent Purchase!!!
Outstanding, lengthy, but compelling read. This was a 1990 edition in a perfect dust jacket. I don't thin this volume has ever been read.

A well written documentary about the on of the greatest rock n roll band on earth. Bill provides us with a detailed glimpse on what life was like as a member of the Stones. Two thumbs up.
