Great film!
War Horse is a great film with enjoyable and engaging scenes and actors who set out an amazing role. I would highly recommend this film to anyone who enjoys watching war films.

Emotional and informative, a great story of one animal’s part in a family’s history.
Wonderful interpretation of the story. I have also seen the stage show with puppetry, which offers the same storyline with a totally but equally emotional approach. The film really reflects the tragedy of war and its consequences on all sides and its effects on individuals and animals involved in WW1.

I was tell my grandson what anmails help in the war, and he asked if there was any films which he could watch, so I ordered the war horse and he loves it. Every child should watch it as it was not just people who lost there life's it was anmails to.

My 13 yr old autistic grandson was learning about the war, and the war horse was mentioned, he engaged really well, and drew a fantastic picture, we praised him up, he told a friend of ours, and she mentioned, the war horse film, so i purchased it. He was very pleased with it

RATHER POWERFUL FILM of WW1
This is a powerful film regards the First World War- Oddly Enough I expected more...maybe as the Theatre Stage Productions had friends saying it was really powerful. But it was a very moving Film-- Shattering as to what Animals...horses.. and Humans had to suffer

Portrays WW1 in a moving way.
The story is amazing and the portrayal of WW1 was very moving. Well acted , how they got the horses to do some of those things is beyond me. Grandson really enjoyed it and it fitted in nicely with his school project.

Great film
Had read the book with my son and decided to get the film to watch as he had to compare a book to a film for school. We weren't disappointed. A great film even though it has quite a few differences to the book (worked well as my son had to write down differences for his project). I found the film very engaging, entertaining and it certainly stirred plenty of emotion. Very well acted and a lovely story. I'm glad I didn't listen to the critics who said the opposite!
