Quiet and quick
This is my third RH 20460 kettle. The main features being, it's quiet and quick boil and this kettle does both of these. The first kettle developed a small leak at the bottom of the plastic water gauge display, returned under warranty and replaced. The second one lasted over two years and the lid release looks to no longer work when you push the button in, the spring has most probably failed although the kettle still functions as a kettle, just the lid is an issue. A good buy

Russell Hobbs Buckingham 20460.
This Russell Hobbs 20460 kettle is a top quality product, well designed and put together. It is a fast boiler and quieter than with most other models. It has the added bonus of having a water gauge both sides (why do few manufacturers do this). Stainless kettles are obviously heavier than plastic/composite ones but if you can manage the little extra weight with just enough water you need, then you wont better the Russell Hobbs Buckingham 20460 and at around £30 including postage, it represents excellent value on today's market.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Time will tell, but all initially very good
It does seem to be quiet boil. ...But time will tell. What happens when the scale builds up a bit? Will the lid opening seize up, will the noise increase? (both mentioned in reviews). I'm quite happy with a lid mechanism, but would have been happier with a simple removable lid. At this point I'm very happy with the kettle. One caveat. I can certainly recommend this kettle fo...
I can certainly recommend this kettle for its “boil dry” facility. I accidentally forgot to put the lid down when I put it on to boil in the kitchen. About an hour later I went back in the kitchen which was dripping wet through, but the kettle was fine! Nice size quit boil good pity about the dent

Good buy
