    Very Happy With The Results!

    This is a device that utilizes your home electrical wiring to give you a LAN/Ethernet connection away from your internet router; it is NOT a WiFi extender. My internet router is upstairs and my laptop is downstairs. 1. You plug the device into the wall. 2. Plug an Ethernet cable into your internet router and the device you just plugged in to the wall. 3. Then find a location where you need a non-WiFi connection, plug it in to the wall, follow the security directions to connect to the device connected to the WiFi Router. 4. Once you have two lights on the device, plug in the Ethernet cable and you have a "hard wired" device. You will also have three lights. Picture one is with WiFi and picture two is after installation of the Powerline Adapter.

    Solved all of my problems!

    I used this net gear Powerline in my work shed along with a new modem. I have excellent Wi-Fi now to use any of my electronics. I am using my Sonos, iPhone, and iPad and they all work excellent! In a speed test done with an app everything except live streaming scored five out of five. It was very easy and straightforward to set-up..basically plug and play.

    Great product! Gives me fast internet anywhere in my house. Buy it!!

    It's plug and play; very easy to use and setup! I hooked my Ethernet connection from the Netgear Powerline 2000 to a my node 2i streaming music server. The connection went from fair from my home wifi to excellent with the Powerline 2000. Works and sounds great!

    Best product by far.

    I have used NetGear Powerline adapters for many years now. The only thing that hurts it is an electrical surge. Best to have spares just in case. It is much better having 2 ports for ethernet for many reasons but the best thing is not losing the socket, since it has a pass-through. The only complaint I have is that it covers up the sockets' ground for 3 prong plugs above it. However, you can still plug in a lamp or other item that only has 2 prongs. It is a great product never-the-less, and streams like a pro. It's more dependable than Wi-Fi for those "queing" times whilst watching a film.

    Better than i thought

    the instructions didn't match the features, there should be an "encryption on" lite. And the first phone help didn't understand you had to set up the system, it was not plug and play, but the second person knew their stuff and it has a wireless feature not in the instructions..yeah
