Mugen and Jin equals lots of trouble. Lol
I've always been heavily into anime and I'm always on the lookout for something good. And this-while not as highly regarded as say Naruto, Bleach, or One Piece-is def worthy of being in any anime fan's collection. (Well, not sure this is an anime for young kids but mature teens and adults, for sure.) Off the top of my head; the fights are fast paced and bloody, Mugen has a foul mouth but is hilarious, and some scenes can be a little raunchy here and there for the parents considering buying this for younger children. But it's a great series! One of the first things that initially drew me in was the music. It's very urban and catchy and I really dig the look. One of the few anime I've watched where the intro music is straight english but that's not a bad thing here. I like the case it came in, it's very artsy and stylish like the show is and if my phone had a better camera I'd take pictures of it but alas, my phone is wack.... =( lol I don't want to to get too lengthy, which I often-times do with things I'm passionate about, but I'll just say if you're even the slightest bit interested, pick it up. It deserves it.

Dvds play but need cleaned before watching due to smudges and scratches.
The packaging was in new condition and the dvds play. The only complaint I have is that the dvds came out of the package smudged. These where labled new and straight out of the shrink wrap. And after cleaning the dvds with a clean microfiber cloth and DVD cleaned it revealed surface scratches. I know this seems like a minor complaint but the description said new and to me that means no prep work or cleaning or scratches. Just pull out the DVD, pop it in and hot play. This is the main reason for the two star. Three out of the 7 dvds skip and have problems playing. This is very irritating cuz it breaks up the action as well as the story. Not happy with this purchase. But 4 of the dvds have no issue.

I ❤️Samurai champloo
Violent, witty, and captivating. What more could you ask for?? Set in feudal Japan, three unlikely companions set off on a quest to find a samurai that smells of sunflowers. Always entertaining. Never dull. With smart-a$$ banter galore. Samurai Champloo is one hell of a good time. 👍👍

Samurai Champloo review
Scratches up on all disc, but still entertaining . had to find out how to get scratches out myself thi. Thats the only bad part about it.
