However, "I really like these socks!!!" They fit more on me like a knee sock! (5' 2") (I never wear Crew Socks!) I don't think if I washed these in hot water that they would ever shrink enough, to use for ankle socks. The elastic holds up the socks but not tight or too loose. I don't feel like they would fit someone approx. 300lbs with extremely swelled legs though.
