This lightweight lens is dynamically constructed to ensure optimal functionality and high-quality photography always. It consists of 10 elements in seven groups. It is also equipped with hybrid spherical lenses and multilayer coating to control chromatic aberration, image flares, and ghosting when you focus on a subject. This can be essential for achieving crisp results with each photo you snap. Aided by its 167-degree angular coverage, you can comfortably take crisp large-format pictures. With this field of view, wide-angle captures are possible, which is especially useful for landscape photography.Designed for APS-C and 35mm film cameras, this incredible lens is compatible with several Canon camera models. It works specifically with Canon EF DSLR models. When used with full-frame digital cameras, it captures rounded images. The built-in hood is shaped like a petal and protects these fisheye lenses from damage. This Rokinon 8mm fisheye lens was built to allow you to focus manually. Due to the inclusion of easy-to-use focus settings, the manual focus is usable by both beginner and advanced photographers alike.These Rokinon 8mm lenses weigh just under a pound, making them highly portable whether they are connected to your camera or carried independently.     Does not work with a Canon R6. Ad says it is for Canon cameras

    Does not work with the Canon R6 camera body. It does not appear to have anything to do with the manual focus requirement as I have other EF lenses that are old manual focus and they work fine. The camera recognizes the lens is a manual focus lens. Because I can't get the camera to do a shutter release, I can't answer the first 3 questions. I had to answer no to these questions in order to submit the review.

    Everything came as expected except....

    The image quality of the lens was nice. I used it a lot on my recent trip because my crop censor doesn't give my 17mm the full coverage. The images looked nice, but I haven't had a chance to put them on the computer just yet. I would have given this a 5 star but the lens came without a rear cap but didn't say it was missing it in the description.

    IF YOUR A FILMAKER, YOU NEED THIS.

    I love my Rokinon 8mm lens. It is so great for all of my films. FYI I am a young fimlaker based in Northern California. I love to make films and this 8mm was the perfect lens to add to my arsenal. I truly have never seen an image wider than what is produced by this lens. I love the lens so much and It just is amazing. The 8mm Rokinon 1:3.5 will truly take my filmaking level to 100 and improve my films 10 FOLD. I LOVE IT SO MUCH, IT's crazy. And it is about half priced a new one. GREAT PRICE, GREAT PRODUCT. IF YOUR A FILMAKER, YOU NEED TO HAVE THIS!!! AWESOME, I AM SO GRATEFUL, REALLY, THANKYOU.

    Rokinon Fisheye Lens

    I have rented this lens on several occasions, and loved it so much, I had to purchase. I like that it's not "fishy" for an 8mm lens. While it not recommended for a full-frame camera, it works well on my Canon 1D MKIII (1.3 crop). Shooting with my Canon 70D (1.6 crop), the images are equal or better than any 8mm fisheye lens made. As long as you shoot level, the only bowing is limited to the edges. Crop the edges, and there's no way to tell it's a fisheye lens. As a bonus, the red ring looks like my Canon "L" lens :)

    Very nice lens

    Great little lens at a great price, learning curve being it is a manual focus with no chip but doesn't take long! Great alternative to high dollar ones if your not sure if you will like a fisheye.
