Have sharpened 2 knives so far and it is nice and flat and stable and cuts stainless pretty quickly as far as I can tell. I'm not very experienced sharpening. Item is solid and heavy in a good way. Plastic base/case is sturdy and gives no impression of cheap junk.

Packaging was excellent being carefully packed with copious amounts of shipping dunnage. Also, FREE Shipping fee was a sweet tie-in. Transaction COULD NOT have BEEN BETTER IMO!
