Get ready for some stock car racing with Electronic Arts' NASCAR 2000. Just in time for the new millennium is a game which features all the hair-rising and spine-tingling thrills of NASCAR racing on your Nintendo 64.<br><br>There are 40 real drivers available for you to race as, from contemporaries such as Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Jeff Gordon to legends like Richard Petty, who is the only old-time racer who you can select at any time. Access to the rest has to be earned by placing in the top five at certain tracks during a championship season with a race length of 50% or more.<br><br>Eighteen real tracks are also ready for you to race on, including a new addition, the Homestead-Miami Speedway. Bob Jenkins and Benny Parsons, both veteran broadcasters, provide the commentary, and you have both a pit crew chief and a spotter to assist you while you race. They'll let you know when it's time to pull in for a quick pit stop during the race.<br><br>You can jump right into the game for a single race or start a championship season in which go through a series of races and earn points depending on how you finish in each one. Between races and before qualifying heats you can tweak your car's specifications to your liking.<br><br>Six views on the action are available, and the graphics include plenty of sparks and smoke when you run into walls or other cars, in addition to crumples in the body of your car. You can also check out replays of your most spectacular moves and crashes.<br><br>Two players can go head-to-head on a split-screen. A Controller Pak is necessary to save game data and a Rumble Pak will allow you to feel every bump in the road.

    6 days from order to front door! Nicely boxed and padded to prevent damage. Engine was not a Pee Wee but was a Sportsman. I was completely aware because of good pictures. Engine almost new! Good value, probably would have drawn a higher bid if accurately described. Reasonable shipping charge added to value. Good eBay!

    Good game

    You have to accept it's age and if your a retro fan this game is pretty good and has some of the greats of the era to race with, a must have for a N64 collection and nascar fan.Preserved memories of a great time in Nascar racing even if you don't play the game much, also usually sold at a acceptable price if just adding to collection for bragging rights😀. Have fun , play hard.

    Meh!

    Graphics in this game are just ok . Kinda like a blurry watercolor painting. Control is only fair (most N64 racing games have only fair controls). However if you'd like to drive the Daytona 500... forget it as this track is mysteriously missing from the game. Sound and commentary are good. Now to be fair considering the power and graphics capabilities of the N64 it is not a bad first try....as gaming systems imoroved the NASCAR games Improved as well. So if you get it for a few bucks and don't mind some frustration than this is a good value!

    WARNING: Do not purchase from these crooks

    Game never worked and then the seeker had the nerve to ask me if I had cleaned the game?!? Should be his responsibility before selling the damn thing. Then he wanted me to ship it back and if it worked he was going to deduct the shipping cost from the cost of the game. The game was $3 so ....I just ended up chalking this one up as a loss and a valuable lesson. Do NOT buy from these crooks period. Read their feedback it’s horrible, it’s what I should’ve done before ordering.
