    Wrong part

    I ordered helper springs for a 2004 Ford F-150, but received springs for a different model. The springs shown were the type that go over the U-Bolts. The ones that I received went under the U-Bolts, which is OK, if they would have fit. The 04 F-150 has two center bolts through the spring stack, the springs that were sent to me only had one hole for the center bolt (I had to drill a second hole in each spring to make them work). Other than that they were OK.

    Nice Kit, But......

    The product itself is good. Heavy and solid, will do the job. One issue I had was that the squared U-bolts that come with the springs are not threaded up far enough. I put the nuts up all the way and still had about 1 and 1/2 inch of slack when the car was still on jacks. When the vehicle was lowered, it took too long for the spring to engage and bear weight. I really would have liked to tighten that U-bolt all the way when jacked so it would help the rear-end be a bit higher. And one other thing you need to be aware of when ordering this kit, and that is that you need to undo the axle U-bolts and take the top plate off in order to add this spring on top of existing springs. The problem I had was that the axle U-bolts were then too short to put the top plate back on and get a nut ...

    Great affordable helper spring, you can install without a helper👍

    Great product, easy to install, read the install guide before the installation. The holes are NOT the center of the springs, they are shorter on the side that goes towards the front . All hardware is a good quality and fits well. Since the vehicle has the wheel removed you might have to use a clamp to squeeze the spring down in order to get the nuts started on the U brackets
