This wasn't a problem for me as I was making pockets to insert into a dress, so I only needed the outer side to be silky so it didn't stick to the dress or tights underneath, but if you were lining a dress and needed both sides to be slippery and non-stick you may find this material unsuitable. The colour was as pictured and it was delivered promptly.
