Old School is in session.... You have probably heard the term Old School , but what you might not know is that there is a concentrated effort to tear that school down. It's a values thing. The anti-Old School forces believe the traditional way of looking at life is oppressive. Not inclusive. The Old School way may harbor microaggressions. Therefore, Old School philosophy must be diminished. Those crusading against Old School now have a name: Snowflakes. You may have seen them on cable TV whining about social injustice and income inequality. You may have heard them cheering Bernie Sanders as he suggested the government pay for almost everything. The Snowflake movement is proud and loud, and they don't like Old School grads. So where are you in all this? Did you get up this morning knowing there are mountains to climb--and deciding how you are going to climb them? Do you show up on time? Do you still bend over to pick up a penny? If so, you're Old School. Or did you wake up whining about safe spaces and trigger warnings? Do you feel marginalized by your college's mascot? Do you look for something to get outraged about, every single day, so you can fire off a tweet defending your exquisitely precious sensibilities? Then you're a Snowflake. So again, are you drifting frozen precipitation? Or do you matriculate at the Old School fountain of wisdom?     Old School by Bill O'Reilly from Fox News

    I love O'Reilly's sense of humor and have started reading this and can't stop laughing at the way he explains how children/ young adults now a days are so policitally correct and sensitive about the stupidest things. An excerpt from his book" Can you imagine James Dean acting like Bruce Jenner nowadays?" He is right on with the changing way of thinking in our country that has gone crazy with their feelings, emotions, social and political behaviors. I am so glad that I am independent and did things my way instead of having everything handed to me like these kids now a days. I really feel sorry for them and pity them. It really jumps off the pages how correct O'Reilly is with the way our Country is going now. So sad.

    The Old School Is Really Not Old

    An interesting book by O'Reilly describing Old School values versus New School value, as he defines as Snowflakes. The book should be used as a learning tool, but does get a little repetitive at times. I enjoy his writing and understand his intentions which are noble. Read it and learn from it. Don't be a Snowflake.

    The good old days.

    Great read. Brought back so many memories of when kids could be kids and you actually learned something in school and learned about life when you weren't in school. Haven't laughed this much when reading a book in a long time. Now I know why O'Reilly is O'Reilly and why he has the values he has. Anyone born during WW II or shortly there after will really relate to what O'Reilly has to say. Makes one long for the good old days.

    Great reminder of who our country once was.

    Great read. This book in a fun to read format, reminds us of how far we've come as a country. Not all of it for the good. In a very humerous way, this book reminds us that things don't have to be perfect in life to be good. And, that adversity conquered by perseverance, helps us to grow and get the most from our lives. Enjoyed the wry humor!!

    Fantastic

    This book is funny and informative. Challenging the social butterflies of the college life we see today and firmly putting them where they belong but told with humor and just the right amount of seriousness. This is a book for all of us who scratch our heads at all the junk coming out of these institutions of intolerance.
