    great quality lens

    Lens arrived in perfect condition. Modified it to fit Canon Eos. Used for Astrophotography. Very sharp and quite fast lens for that. solid focus ring which is good for astro photography. really like the solid feel of this vintage lens. Did some comparison daytime shots with a canon zoom lens. The Pentax definitely was sharper when zoomed right in on the image. Very happy. Great value for a quality lens if your happy with total manual operation.

    Sleeper

    This lens is tack sharp once you learn how to nail the focus. Build quality is typical takumar, all metal and buttery smooth. Most longer lenses of the era suffer from longitudinal chromatic aberration (green and red colour fringing in out of focus areas) and this lens is no exception. Despite this flaw, the lens is still exceptional value for money and a lot of fun to use.

    great buy!

    purchased it for wide field astrophotography and some casual portraits. The item arrived in an excellent condition. Surprised how the optics were well maintained for a long time. Took some sample shots and it gives sharp images from F5.6/F8. Overall, it's a great buy for the money.

    Beautiful images from a great lens

    Super Takumar 200mm f4. I love this lens and have captured some wonderful moments with it. Very sharp, great colour rendition and so smooth and easy to operate. I highly recommend this lens.

    Best lens for the money

    This is a great portrait lens good Boca wide open and sharp close down it’s a little heavy to carry around but for the money is a good lens
