    Item not received, no refund, and seller is unresponsive since March 28 when we agreed that he would resend and I would pay for the re-shipping of the item after I had mistakenly used the wrong shipping address. Unfortunately having to involve eBay to assist resolving. Really bummed because we need the item for well water purification.

I had rudely requested a refund when learning California doesn't permit large water filters to be delivered to CA-registered addresses (and how that's possible proves we live in Cuba) and he promptly refunded in full; however, it's no fault of this seller.     Good But Prefer the Stainless Steel

    Hi, this is the second berkey system I have purchased and used, but I prefer the stainless steel one a little better because it is of course a little more sturdy being stainless steel, and also the lid, I prefer the stainless steel rather then the softer water resistant cloth like sleeve that goes over the top replicating a lid... I would tell people to get the stainless steel personally..

    Clear vs Steele... Clear is better

    I love this thing, first it is clean so one can see the water level at any thing. The filters are doing their job when I can no longer taste the chems any longer. The only down side is that it took four fillings to clear out the filters of their dust. But once that was done life is good once again. I'm looking forward to using it daily. As a added note my morning coffee is tasting better thus making life even better.

    It definitely works!

    Berkey Light was smaller than I expected but it is actually the perfect size for my wife and I. This is the "plastic" version. We didn't like the stand it came with. Seemed too small to be really stable but we didn't need it.. Also didn't really like the top cover at first because it's a fabric lid. But It's really not that bad. It definitely works! Coffee tasted great the next morning!!

    Just WOW!!!!

    Pros- The best tasting water we have ever had. We put it on the window sill above the kitchen sink and we can use the sprayer to refill it as needed. Super simple. We bought a plastic container with a faucet to keep in the fridge and have ice cold delicious water on tap. Cons- The hardest part of the setup was priming the filters. It takes alot of hand strength to hold it against the faucet without it spraying. Would be better with a hard plastic top instead of the soft top included. Haven't regretted making this purchase for a minute.

    Disappointed

    Water tastes like tap water, which is not good and means the filtering is not adequate. It might be better with the other filters for arsenic and fluoride (this set only comes with 2 carbon filters) which are an additional $180 and need replacing regularly, bringing the cost of a gallon (just for the additional filters) to over 30 cents, which is really high. I really can't use this for drinking water; I'll use it for plants and my humidifier. Disappointed as I had high hopes for this.
