    This is a great DMG for 4E and worth reading even if you're not currently DM'ing 4E

    Lots of great info for DMs on how to run a compelling game in any edition. Talks about types of players, styles, and technique. Also helps get a handle on the simple but somewhat intimidating 4E math and scaling. The binding is solid, art is prolific and text is easy to read. The quality and presentation of 4E is top notch. The rules are a matter of taste.

    Informative and easy to follow

    I find this particular volume to be not unlike other D&D books. There are a lot of things that are different about becoming a Dungeon Master and this volume has taken a lot of the guess work out of the equation.

    Better than I Initially Thought

    The weakest of the D&D editions, it still is a good source book--if only to hack it (adding what works and extracting what doesn't).
