Kirk going to rehab and a younger White awaiting death sentence are merely two examples of the dark side to the family's hell-raising lifestyles portrayed through this documentary. Exposing the deep penetrating corruption, poverty and devastating scene of coal mines- the "The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia" struggles to preserve the art of mountain dancing. Ranging three to four generations of turmoil and tragic deaths, the DVD ends on the note of apprehension over the future generation of the White family.

    REALLY##$^%$##@W

    DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE BIG TO DO IS ABOUT THIS DOCUMENTARY/FAMILY.. I have known people in my life tine that have struggles and drug issues and outbursts which have lead to jail time,infidelity,embellishment,etc.....and they are all blue collar family... SO WHAT IS THE BIG TO DO ABOUT THE WHITES?????@##@#@$%%#% FOUND IT FOR 10.28 AND TOOK MY TIME ..INSTEAD OF PAYING THE RIDICULOUS PRICES BEING ASKED FOR IT... not an exciting documentary as they have posted on you tube etc...DO GO FOR IT!!!!

    They are Wild and Wonderful

    This movie happens to be one of my fathers favorites if it wasn't for him I would have never seen this, now all of my friends and family have seen it. It is very entertaining I think we all have a little bit of all of them in our families.

    The Whites

    Not for kids . unbelievable story. They just can't shake the bad off of them. Feel like something bad is connected too the family. Feel sorry for the next generation of the Whites.
