The product was advertised as new, but it looked like the outer and inner boxes were both opened and re-sealed due to the asymmetrical packaging tape - not the typical circular tape on the outside as you would expect. However, the product arrived fast and without visible damage apart from very minor paint defects that I hear is normal with these hand-crafted scales. Overall, I am satisfied.

Right after i bought it, I got a message from the seller concerning the shipment and detailed information about the shipment. He was very friendly and courteous. Because of the reason the it was sent from Japan and I live in Germany, I expected it to be deliverd in two or three weeks, but surprisingly it just took 2 days to be delivered from Japan to Germany.
