Good for the price.
This is a good little amp especially for the price. It can get pretty loud and drives 8 ohm, 4 ohm, or 2 ohm configurations. The only thing I wish it had was a mono input and output for doing live music. With this unit you have right and left input and corresponding outputs and if the right input is plugged in no sound comes out of the left which is a little annoying if you have limited outputs from your system or console. This would be resolved with a 4 or 8 channel mixer to have more inputs and outputs then a console has but for the price it is a good unit and sounds clean and has a relatively low noise floor. In other words you don't hear static coming through the speakers at any volume especially when the volume is lower.This is a good little amp especially for the price. Take care with understanding the power ratings
The power ratings shown are peak to peak power values for both channels combined. For example, 500W @ 4 ohms is really only 250W peak to peak power for each channel. This equates to 88.4 watts RMS per channel. If you are expecting 500W RMS per channel into 4 ohms, you are going to be very disappointed. Amp appears to be well constructed. No problems so far. Only rated this as 3 stars because I thought the specs were deceptive.The power ratings shown are peak to peak power values for both channels combined. Power amp
This power amp is excellent value. It replaced my Dynaco power amp it has fine clean sound. My only complaint is the two fan are way too noisy. I will replace them.

Small Church Amp
Small Church (room of 100 people) - Replaces the bad amplifier with this unit. I was surprised that it had a crisp clear sound. I turned the channel levels all the way up and added gain at the mixerboard preamp without distortion. Likewise, the unit was not clipping or peaking on the LED display. With better preamplification than my Mackie mixer, the output would be full and powerful. Reproduces the sound beautifully.Small Church (room of 100 people) - Replaces the bad amplifier with this unit. I was surprised that it had a crisp clear sound. Be sure you pay attention to matching ohms and watts between your amp and speakers, this amp works really well so far, so long as you match everything up like youre supposed to. Alot of negative reviews about the power, but alot of those seem to be operator error. I have 3 of these and the power my pa system just fine with plenty of head room, running each channel with a 4 ohm load
