    A 1st rate dancer !!!

    I love this 2 disc set--it has a treasure trove of information about Jimmy Cagney--so much info you'll have to watch it again & again--it has a great commentary track--Every one remembers his tough guy roles--( Public Enemy (1931) with the grapefruit in the girl's face /or White Heat (1949) "I made Ma-Top of the World!" and getting blown up--Well this man was a FABULOUS dancer as you will see viewing it--Buy it on Ebay--you won't be sorry--frankjann2012

    A Dandy isn't always bad

    This is my all time favorite movie, bar none. I have watched it for over 55 years and it gets better every time. If you need a movie to lift your spirits, this is it. The singing and dancing are great and the theme couldn't be better. If you don't get tears in your eyes at some point in this movie there's something wrong. Just remember my mother thanks you, my father thanks you, my sister thanks you and I thank you. From a gangster to a lively song writer, dancer, singer and producer James Cagney really showed his talents in this movie.

    Yankee Doodle Dandy, an incredible true story!

    The movie, Yankee Doodle Dandy, has been a favorite of mine since I was a child. It never grows old. I looked up George M Cohan on the Internet the other day because I wanted to see if the story in the movie was true. And with great surprise, I found out IT TRULY IS! How could anyone really be as wonderful as the person James Cagney portrays in the film? It’s a mystery to me!!!
