How did i live without it?!
i love this workstation 350! i'm a locksport enthusiast and enjoy making various tricky locks for friends around the world to pick open. the panavise helps me do everything i need from holding the locks while i attempt to pick them open, simulating the job of a door (although we never pick locks in situ!) to holding my drill while i make the weird and wonderful security pins to go inside the locks. i have the jaws the other way round from the picture, so back to back and the strong winding mechanism coupled with the neoprene jaw covers is strong enough to hold the bow of a key while i file cuts in it and the multi directional head on the vice means that any angle is easily achievable. the base tray is also very useful, especially if you are dealing with fiddly bits, like pins and springs ... i love this workstation 350! i'm a locksport enthusiast and enjoy making various tricky locks for friends around the world to pick open. the panavise helps me do everything i need from holding the locks while i attempt to pick them open, simulating the job of a door (although we never pick locks in situ!) to holding my drill while i make the weird and wonderful security pins to go inside the locks. i have the jaws the other way round from the picture, so back to back and the strong winding mechanism coupled with the neoprene jaw covers is strong enough to hold the bow of a key while i file cuts in it and the multi directional head on the vice means that any angle is easily achievable. the base tray is also very useful, especially if you are dealing with fiddly bits, like pins and springs and you want to keep them apart until you need to. i used it to help me solder something delicate yesterday which needed to remain still during the process which it did with ease and the round bit at the opposite side to the winder doubled as a holder for the iron. if you need a vice i cannot recommend this enough, i've bought several table top vices that have failed for one reason or another, invest a little in one of these, you won't regret it.

Best circuitboard rework fixture on the planet!
This fixture is like having a third, fourth and fifth hand when working on everything from SMD boards to older printed circuit boards. The articulating vise allows for positioning the circuit board at really difficult-to-position angles and locks the circuit board rigidly in place. Throw away the gator-clip vices as they are worthless in-comparison. Someone was really thinking when they designed the pana-vise with the built-in small parts tray. Lastly, the metal base is heavy enough that it stays put on the bench during soldering, but leaves you the option of locking it down with screws or with a C-clamp. Excellent quality!
This is a top of the line that I have grown to depend on from the panavise brand. The perfect tool for holding items during repair, soldering, inspection etc. (We use this model for technical work to hold items usually less than 2 lbs.) The base is solid and assures that your secured item is stationary during access. The vise mechanism is uniquely designed with a precision function and feel. We have used this model in our professional lab for nearly 30 years and still use the first ones we obtained years ago. I don't think anyone will be disappointed with one of these!This is a top of the line that I have grown to depend on from the panavise brand. Outstanding item
As advertised, this vise has the features to provide a third hand for crafts where strength and finesse must meet. It is heavy, sturdy and provides so much functionality, my only regret is no getting it before.

Excellent support for Panavise vices
This is the tray-mount (mounting) base for most of the Panavise bases and provides a stable support as well as tray for holding tools and parts. It's very sturdy. This is my second one as I have two different set-ups for picking different locks. I highly recommend adding this to, for example, the Panavise 301 vice.
