Josefina's Holiday Outfit
I was so fortunate to find a complete Holiday Outfit, even in the box! This is all my daughter wanted for Christmas. This was all I wanted for Christmas, to see her excitement to get this lovely ensemble. We dressed Josefina up in this, and put traditional dresses on my other two dolls, and into Santa Fe, NM, for the Christmas Eve Farolitos Walk on Canyon Drive. This was such a pretty dress, that when my daughter put Josefina down to get a photo of her with the farolitos behind her that several people stopped to look at this pretty doll. One woman,who was of Hispanic descent, loved the mantilla so much that she took her camera out and took her own photo of the doll. She didn't ask permission of us, but she was entranced at the lovely colors and reverent way my daughter had posed her doll. I recommend this outfit for anyone's Josefina doll. The color of the dress is not a typical Christmas dress that we usually think of, the reds and greens, but it is the color and style that Tia Dolores brought back from Mexico City and made into a dress for Josefina.
