Canon's Super Spectra Coating gives the lens additional clarity that minimizes ghosting, flares, and other light aberrations in photos, and creates contrast and sharpness that results in finely detailed photographs. It even provides excellent depth of field, sharpness, and close focusing distance for videographers.
