Quality control needs to be a bit better by the rebuilder.
Carb runs great now after I changed the power valve, jets, accelerator pump & electric choke controls. All these parts were reused by the rebuilder, & had to be changed before the carb worked properly, it works great now. Good thing I had my old carb for parts.

Highly recommended carb- good as a new one
Carb arrived in about two days (of course, the factory is in Bowling Green KY, only an hour from me). Installed on my '48 Lincoln street rod with 350 SBC engine in about an hour. Manifold gasket was included! Cranked a while to fill float bowls, fixed minor leak at screw where you adjust float, and the car started and idled flawlessly. That's saying a lot, as with the other carb (also a Holley but rebuilt 20 years ago) it stalled often and idled roughly. Problem solved and for way less than a new one. If you are on the fence because these are refurbished, go for it, Holley tests them thoroughly and will back them up.

Looks like a brand new carb for a lot less money than new.
How could anything. from holley not be good and delivered right when they said it would be.

Awesome , looks great on top of my chromed out engine and it runs great also, better get you one. Got it fast also.

Exceptional Value
This carb cannot be distinguished from a new one! I saw one minor mark from a mounting nut...that's it! This carb bolted right on and started right up. A couple of idle and float adjustments and all is good. Excellent price, exceptional deal. And.... a 1 year factory warranty to boot ! SUPER !

Essentially new for 2/3 the price
Another success story....a little shortening and re-flaring of my '68's fuel line, and wham! the 1968 rod linkage (last year of that for Ford) even lands right in one of Holley's bellcrank holes. The idle mixture was dead on at 1.5 turns out each side, and the float levels were the perfect "barely trickling" state when I popped off the sight plugs. Neat! If one of these won't work for you, it's likely nothing will. And I didn't pat full price!!

Works awsome on my 305 chevy
I love this carberator! So much better than the computer controlled quadrajet that was in my 83 caprice. I probrobly need to get smaller jets but out of the box works awsome. Would definitely recommend this refurbished carb any day.

Conversation from tbi to a 4bbl Holley
You can buy a refurbished one for more money or a new one for less money. Carb runs good on my truck. But I can't get the fuel pressure turned down low enough so I have to get another regulator to solve that problem.

So much for install and done!
I bought this carburetor because my old one was leaking. I put it on my 1972 c10 and it ran rough. I adjusted the idle air screws & got it running good, but it was idling about 1500 rpms. So had to take it off, call Holley 800# & found out (on my own) it was the choke adjusted too tight. Now it runs & idles great, but no choke. So much for install & your done

Didn't work...
I bought this carb and it was not useable. I tried tuning it to the best of my abilities and couldn't even get it to idle consistently. I didn't reach out for a return or refund and that is my fault. I bit the bullet and bought new and am happy I did. My new carb out of the box was nearly perfect. The carb looked brand new, there must have been some error during assembly.
