Near Perfection Required!!
For its age, I suppose it does well. If there is anything on the DVD, the picture freezes or skips. Since most of my DVDs are older, this is a problem for me. I put in a brand new DVD in and it played perfect. Also, the machine itself must be as level as possible to avoid skips and freeze ups. I am lucky to have an original remote with my unit for more functions from remote. With an aftermarket remote, which I also have, just about all I can do is on/off and volume. Works well and has good features

A great CD/DVD storage and playback unit
I use it for CDs and not for DVDs. This one plays my CD-Rs great. I love the huge 400 disc storage capacity and to be able to choose a discount with the turn of a knob and a press of a button. Hooks right into my receiver. Sony 400 DVD changer
Perfect for rainy days to relax. I loaded up hundreds of music and group DVDs in mine and It's nice to sit back and relax and be fully entertained for hours on end. The audio quality is very good. Purchased this for an bedridden disabled man, it works for him well.
We had to find software to go with as didn't come with it. Not too hard to find, we had to purchase a USB cable to make it compatible to TV - again not too hard. Hooked everything us correctly, inserted all the movies into DVD case and it's working well. For a bedridden man this works perfect for him to watch his movie and be able to choose it from his bed without someone helping him every time movie needs changing. Great DVD player

Perfect For My Needs
This carousel holds about a fifth of our collection, and makes it very easy to access the ones we watch the most. More importantly, it came with an original remote which can be used with up to three of these units (we have two). We bought this one because of the remote.
