Bill Firpo (Nicholas Cage) is trying to stay straight, but at the behest of his brothers Dave, played by John Lovitz, and Alvin (Dana Carvey), he agrees to help out on a bank robbery which they assure him cannot go wrong. Dave and Alvin have recently gotten out of jail, and the poorly guarded bank in the small town of Paradise, Pennsylvania, provides an opportunity for easy money they just can't pass up. The robbery proves successful, but they don't manage to beat the huge snowstorm out of town; snowed in with their loot, they are taken in by the unwitting townspeople they've just robbed, who give new meaning to the phrase "killing with kindness!"Product Identifiers

ONE OF THE FUNNIEST CHRISTMAS SHOWS EVER
The "Furpo Brothers,"Biill (Nicholas Cage), Dave (John Lovitz) and Alvin (Dana Carvey) consist of Bill Furpo, who is trying to establish a new life away from criminal activities and helping his inept younger brothers, Dave and Alvin who are being release from prison right before Christmas. The paroled brothers entangle Dave into a bungling attempt at robbing a bank in the little town of Paradise which if full of genuinely likable and quirky people. In a change of heart, due to Bill's feelings of the girl who works in the bank they just stole the Towns Christmas Fund, finds how hard it can be to return the stolen loot. VERY FUNNY! GREAT CHARACTERS! OVERLOOKED CHRISTMAS THEMED FILM!
When Nick Cage gets out of prison his brothers a compulsive liar and a kleptomaniac (played by SNL alums Jon Lovitz and Dana Carvey respectively!) talk him into robbing the bank in a little town called Paradise! After a series of a comedy of errors they eventually are successfully, but just one problem...They can't seem to get out of the town! Nicolas Cage, Jon Lovitz, and Dana Carvey were great fun to watch in this Holiday movie.

Different Wisemen

Enjoyable light Christmas movie
