Take a pass on this one...
I don't normally review products but this one really bugs me. I researched various chronographs and this one is what I came up with. I was even willing to pay more for a higher level product but this one offered several features that lured me in. Bluetooth connection to read out on your phone/device, a 15' wire directly to your phone or device, and a carry case. I tried for over an hour to get the Bluetooth and wire connections to sync up and could never make either work. I even went online and checked reviews and fix's to see if others were having similar problems (and they are) and to see what the solutions are. Nothing worked. Now the chronograph works fine on it's own it just won't sync with my phone and the Caldwell app. On top of that, literally on my second outing with product the zipper failed and now the case is useless. So now I have a chronograph that works as good as all the other chronographs that I didn't buy for less money because I wanted the extra stuff and none of the extra features work. This is what happens when a company like Caldwell just imports cheap crap from China and has no oversight on the quality control process. My advise is spend your money on a better quality product. Too late for me now but buy once cry once!

Works just fine. The leds are great and from my point of view are a must if you want to be able to use the chrono anytime. The phone app is a great feature that simplify few things and you can keep a register of any weapon with any amo and compare each other and see any changes when you do modifications. The tripod is steady. All comes in a carring bag. I like it a lot so far.

Great to have if you reload.
I've been reloading for years, 9mm. 40 S&W and 45 acp and always went by the loading data to give me the right velocity. Now I'm shooting IDPA and have to meet a power factor so I thought I would get this to make sure I was getting power factor I needed. My results were mind opening. My 9mm and 40 S&W were spot on but my 45acp were all over the board and much slower than the load data indicated. So now I need to add more powder to them. Without this chrony I wouldn't have known I had a problem. Fir me a great tool.

Seems to work great !
Have used this chronograph 3 times. Twice on my 2 bows, and once on cousin's 2 bows. Roughly 80 shots thru with maybe 4-5 low readings or errors. Also the app (droid Samsung for me, Apple for cousin) worked great for both our phones, tho I had to take Otter box off mine to ensure Jack connected enough.

Great product, great App
Easy set up and easy to use. I had a little malfunction with the cable conection that i solved just by cutting the a little piece of rubber off the connector, trying to make it longer. The App is easy to use and you can write all the data about your reload, and send to your e-mail !!

Great chronograph
Great chronograph, works great and seems very accurate. The first thing I did however was to replace the 4 metal rods that hold the light diffuser/light bar assembly's with 3/16 inch diameter wood dowel rods. The ends will need to be sanded down or carved with a knife to 4mm to fit the chronograph and light bars. This will give the chronograph a fighting chance to survive it a stray bullet hits one of the rods as the wood will give way where the steel rods wouldn't.

The 'price is right'
If you are a shooter and you actually want to know what your kill distance is, rather than taking shots that are to far, and well only mame your target, YOU NEED ONE OF THESE. Besides ! allowing you to know what ammo shoots best out of your weapon. From Slingshot or Arrows, to High powered rifle you need one of these.

Great simple to use chronograph.
Easy set up with android tablet and downloaded app. Have put over 300 rounds through without a misread. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a good quality chronograph. Comes with everything needed to measure rounds in metres or feet per second.

Nice chronograph
Used to check air gun velocity with different pellets to be within state's requirements for hunting small game. Light kit is great for indoor use. Fluorescent lights need to be either shielded or turned off for best results.

Good Chronograph.
I'm thinking maybe I should have bought one with blue tooth, but so far very happy with this device. A little tricky to set up correctly when you're a beginner, but as you learn more it get easier. Good consistent readings.
