    The only book you need by your side to develop Win32 applications

    The best book I know of to get started with Win32 development in C++. Programming Windows helped me understand core concepts of the Windows environment and master the API. When coupled with the MSDN, it is a must have for anyone interested in building Windows applications. The information is still relevant today, as it was 20 years ago.

    Win32 API programming

    This is THE book on Win32 API and the code examples are written in C. This book is over 20 year old and still today handy to have, and I believe it is going to remain so for the next 20 years.
