This anime series is based on BLOOD: THE LAST VAMPIRE, and tells the epic tale of Saya Dtonashi, a teenager with amnesia. In BLOOD +, Japan has been under siege by the Chiropterans for several decades. The blood-slurping creatures have the ability to transform and the only person who can stop them is Saya, but only if she regains her memory before it's too late. Wonderful Anime
I have always wanted to see this anime again, but have never been able to. Couldn't resist an opportunity to get the box set. Yes the outer box was beat up pretty bad, as described, we we did not buy it for the box anyway. Dvds were perfect with no scratches. Enjoying watching this series again with my daughter. Thank you so much!

All 5 DVDs of blood+ season 1
I noticed the set I got were not resurfaced unlike the description claimed. That's false mine had hairline scratches on all disks and some had more pronounced scratches. I'll need to buy a disk resurfaced to refurbish them now. I'm happy that I was able to buy the complete first season of blood+ because, it's really becoming rare and expensive.
