Great replacement converter for our popup trailer
I bought the PD Power Converter to replace an existing Centurion 2000 series converter had given up the ghost, in our somewhat ancient Viking popup trailer. I chose the PD converter after researching various options, and this is plainly the right choice. The size is very close to the Centurion. Two minutes with a jigsaw adjusted the existing opening to fit the PD converter. Wiring the PD converter was a snap. The schematic that came with the converter was clear. I would add the caveat that you need some fundamental electrical knowledge to take on this task. It's not hard; you just want to be comfortable with AC and DC systems, and know how to make a good splice. The converter does not come with step-by-step instructions, or wire nuts, that sort of thing.
This is a well-made power converter, and my popup is back working they way it should. One criticism, and this is minor: the switch that toggles between Lead Acid and Lion battery modes ismall and buried on the circuit board. The documentation that comes with the converter is careful to identify it with pictures, so it's not a mystery. Just takes focus, and for me, some magnifiers, to see it.
