A 40 year family favorite
I raised 9 children on 2 copies of this dear book. Yes, we wore the first one completely out. Most of us can quote it. The illustrations are intricate and fascinating.

The book content itself is a treasure and should still be available, new, to children ages 4-6 or 7.
This copy had chewed edges of the entire book, as if a child or a dog had been using it for a small snack. One of the pages was scotch-taped back into the book. Would NOT consider in "good condition"' and cannot give it as a gift, as I was planning.
