Replace your stock nut with this!
Installed on a 2000 Epi Les Paul Limited Edition as my factory plastic nut had a big chunk missing where the low E goes through the nut.Installation was a breeze after cleaning the nut slot out with some fine sandpaper.Nut was very tight in the slot so ran some sandpaper across the bottom edges and it fit perfect but was a little wide.No problem, the Tusq material is quite easy to work with so sanded the ends down little by little until it fit flush with the neck.Used two tiny drops of Loctite glue to secure it and restrung and retuned.Seems like there is better resonance and sustain and for the price, its a great upgrade.

Perfect for my need!
I use a vintage strat floating bridge. Paired with string saver saddles, my tuning is spot on! Great tone and sustain too! The notes seem to pop out. Even without pluging in the volume boost is apparent. Each note is now so rich harmonically. Other guitarists have a tough time believing I do all that whammy- bar work with a vintage trem! Got my nut!!!
Got my XL TUSQ nut in the mail yesterday for my epiphone les paul studio, had time to install it today only took a bit of sanding for a perfect fit and a couple of drops of super glue. Great replacement for a great upagrade
A good quality nut is worth the small investment of time and money. These Graphtech nuts aren't necessarily designed to drop right in. You will need to do some fine sanding to make it fit just right. The string grooves are cut just right.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

The way too go for smoothness and better tone

Graph Tech rocks
