Made my GPS a nice driving accessory
My Silverado has a textured skin to the dash so the suction cup didn't stay. This mount allows me to fix the GPS at eye level, within easy reach. I usual am driving alone when driving the truck, so partially blocking one vent was not an inconvenience. I like how you can tighten the soft grip on a vent blade so it does not fall off when driving over bumpy roads.

Great product
GPS units are often damaged by heat, this keeps it cool and in a better position than in the windshield which is illegal in some states. Also no worries about falling from the windshield and it's easy to move to another vehicle.

Great Product
I didn't like mounting my GPS to the windshield because it was too far away to see well and to operate when driving. This is a great product for mounting a GPS to an air vent. Now my GPS is close enough to see easily and to operate.

Terrible quality.
I bought this product thinking that it would be better made than a universal type mount. I was wrong. There is a small foot that holds the back of the vent louver. Any slight movement like adjusting the angle of the screen, tears the foot off. That makes the mount useless. It will still clamp down but it is very unstable.

Excellent product
This mount is the best. It keeps my Garmin from flopping around. I am going to buy another one.

Cannot Use
Well made but not sturdy on the vents. Too much weight from gps and did not want to snap vent blades or break gps from it falling. Sticking with suction cup mounts. Maybe others can use but not for me.
