This is the best book I have ever read on the subject of trusting God in hardship.
This is the best book I have ever read on the subject of trusting God in hardship. I am currently undergoing the most brutal trial of my life, and this book ministers to me daily. I thank God for how He faithfully sustained Jerry Bridges in his own trial, and how the Holy Spirit opened the truth to Jerry to understand that God is completely sovereign, perfect in love, and infinite in wisdom. His personal study of scripture provided comfort for Jerry and endurance in his trial, just as God has promised. In his weakness, Jerry ministers to us out of God's strength.
