Remake as good as the original
Even if you saw this version without seeing the original with Hayley Mills, as a young girl, you won't be disappointed. This version with a very young Lindsay Lohan, is every bit as good as the original. Warm hearted family movie with a twist.
It's a warm hearted family movie with plenty of moments and chuckles. Lindsay Lohan truly shines in her portrayal of twin sisters in this movie and she reminds me of Hayley Mills who also played a pair of twin sisters in the original version of "The Parent Trap" movie that was made in the 1960s but I think that I like the modern 1990s version of "The Parent Trap" better with Dennis Quaid, Natasha Richardson, Elaine Hendrix and Lindsay Lohan.
