Once upon a time, there were 4 brothers: Barry, Maurice, Robin and Andy Gibb. Pop icons of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, their magnificent music served as the soundtrack of our lives. I loved it...and them. “Mythology” is truly a unique “family album” which includes 4 CDs - One representing each brother's work. There are 81 cuts in the collection and, with the exception of "Lonely Days" and "You Should Be Dancing", all the hits that made the Bees Gees international superstars are here. This “Massachusetts” native favors “I’ve Gotta Get A Message To You”, “I Started A Joke”, "I Can't See Nobody", "Words", "Holiday", “To Love Somebody” "The First of May" and Disco favorites like “Stayin’ Alive”, “Jive Talkin’” "Tragedy", "Night Fever", "If I Can't Have You", “More Than A Woman”, “How Deep Is Your Love” and "Run To Me". There will always be a very special place in my heart for the youngest brother, Andy, who passed away from Miocarditus just 5 days after his 30th birthday. He is still the only artist ever to have his first three consecutive releases hit Number 1 on Billboard's Hot !00. Those mega-hits: “I Just Want To Be Your Everything” “Shadow Dancing” and "(Love Is) Thicker Than Water" are included, as well as "(Our Love) Don't Throw It All Away“, "An Everlasting Love", "Time Is Time" and one of his final recordings “Arrow Through The Heart”. WALKING AIR when I hear these songs
Awesome cd I love the different disk with different song instead of the same ones you hear over and over and the two with Maurice and his daughter Samantha are really great.
