Great PEX Ring Crimp tool.
Great tool for doing PEX Ring crimping.Used this on a Bathroom Remodeling job and it worked perfectly on 3/4" and 1/2" piping. Did not have 1" pipe to try the 1". Worked fast and easily. Not a single bad Crimp. The 3/8" jaws are not included and the documentation on the box and instructions make this very clear. The only concern is that the tool will start working when the switch is pressed. Need to make sure not to touch the switch until ready. The crimped ring sometimes sticks in the jaws. Be sure to give a little wiggle before opening the crimp jaws. These problems are minor compared to the speed and ease of use. I would definitely buy this tool again, if I had the requirement.

Not complete
I have used this too before. Only problem i have is that it did not include the 2 collet sets to crimp 1/2" and 3/4". The description said "Tool Only". But the manufacturer describes it the same way. and it includes the collet sets. I was expecting to receive them. I have had a really hard time trying to find a place that will sell them. In fact, i cant use the tool until i locate some. Very disappointing...

Great Ryobi pex ring crimp tool.
Much easier than manual crimp tool. Works in fairly limited space, as I age a tool like this allows me to continue using pex system type piping. It works well with Ryobi batteries I already have.

Great tool!
Tool works great, much better than swaging manually in a crawl space. The only complaint I have is the original dies will pinch the copper rings. I used the dies from my manual shark bite crimpers and it worked perfectly.

Does what it should!
It’s great when you need it. Works well for tight spots where my long handled manual crimper can’t reach. It does have its limitations, but at half the price of any other powered crimper, you really can not complain!

RYOBI Pex Crimp Ring Tool
The RYOBI Crimp ring tool has been a great addition to our operation. The tool has saved labor and time on our Pex plumbing jobs. The price comparison to the other makes and brands is very competitive. I would definitely recommend this tool.

A very good pex crimping tool.
The jaw of the tool should be solid and a little narrower like the other two competitors. It works will, but in some instances in tight places it cannot be used. It is well worth the price.

Awesome addition
Perfect job crimping rings. Only negative I have is weight. I use it with compact batteries to help reduce weight. If it were lighter I would have given it 5 stars.

Its about time they came out with this tool . I'm so excited about it
Very easy to use. And changeling out the dies are not so bad . Just wish they was a holder for them for they will get lost in between sizes

Always works, doesn't need much space, easy to change sizes
Works well and allows access without needing the wide space for handles like a manual crimper - and for not a lot more than the cost of a manual unit. Beware this is also much stronger than a manual unit and will close no matter what. I ruined a couple of connections by not giving the jaws enough space to close so they destroyed the ring rather than crimping. I also like the very easy jaw size change. No wrench required to switch between crimp sizes. The only improvement I can think of would be to add a jaw size holder to the tool so the jaw size adaptors do not need to be in a separate bag.
