The Rockford Files
James Garner was a wonderful actor, no matter what the genre of the film or TV episode. He's at his best in the Rockford Files. It's a shame the series didn't go past the sixth and final season; however for died in the wool fans, there are several made for TV Rockford Files movies that were produced several years after the series and they are worth looking into. You can't go wrong with this or any year of the series.
