Much better than the AVP1
These are a much better alternative to the over the ear/boom mic AVP1 headsets that come with the Midland GXT 1000s. Much easier to put on and use. I use these in a convertible sports car with the top down and they work pretty well. I can hear very well through the ear piece but the mic does pick up some wind noise at times. I find the ear piece to be comfortable in my ear but I do have narrower ear canals than the average person.

Nice accessory for your radio
This is a great addition to my midland radios. It has crystal clear sound, earbud is very comfortable and fits nicely around my ear. Much better than my standard non-over earbud. Well worth it especially at a great price.

Great Product
Great Product. If you want to hear what's going on around you without blasting to everyone, then this product is exactly what you want. I used it for deer hunting this year and it performed as advertised. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is hunting.

You need these- trust me!
Working on any job and constantly having to hold the mic up to your mouth is a real pain in the but! These are so much better- sound activated all I have to do is talk- and hearing what they’re saying is loud and clear as a bell now! Like I said- you need these- trust me!
