very funny movie
This is one of the funniest teen movies ever made. It makes fun of the genre while being extremely clever and irreverent. It also pays homage to the great teen films by placing the action in John Hughes High School, and replicating one of many funny scenes in the library and virtually duplicating Breakfast Club. Many great stars from the past appear in rolls large and small: Randy Quaid, Lyman Ward (Ferris Bueller's father), Paul Gleason (the detention monitor in Breakfast Club), Ron Lester (Varsity Blues) and, best of all, the iconic Molly Ringwald making fun of her character in Pretty in Pink. There are really too many arcane references to mention. Chris Evans is perfect as the handsome football hero, Eric Christian Olsen is delightfully hilarious as his wise-cracking nemesis, and JoAnna Garcia Swisher steals the show as Sandy Sue, as a cheerleader with Tourette's Syndrome. Entertaining and, with the possible exception of a few over-the-top gross moments, a laugh-out-loud, bright and happy movie.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
