The Numismatist's Bible
Coins of England (& the United Kingdom) published by Spink is commonly regarded as the Numismatist's Bible and whether you're a coin collector, an historian or a metal detectorist this book will prove to be an invaluable addition to your reference collection. It lists and catalogues every coin which has ever been in circulation as currency in this country, from the late Iron Age to the modern day, with excellent illustrations of each coin, its original value, its current value to a collector, and even details of the mint mark where it originated from. Such a wealth of information in such a handy format makes identification of your coins both relatively easy - and a fascinating and captivating pursuit. It also gives a good educational glance at the timetables of history with the dates of each ruler/monarch at the beginning of each section, and is filled with the kind of vital historical information that any coin collector, numismatist, or student of history would deem invaluable. If like me, you are all three then this book is a `Must Have'.

Coin collecting
If you have any interest in collecting British coins, this is the definitive guide. Buying last year's edition saves money, though it is, by definition a year out of date. If you need up to date information then buy the new one, but I don't think it's much of a problem if you are collecting Victorian coins or similar.

All you need to know
This volume is all you need to know about identifying any United Kingdom coin. Also it contains a market value to hep you keep up with what your collection might be worth. Great value for money although its not 2017 issue , the only thing between the years are the values of different coins. Altogether a must have for any serious collector.

A highly treasured "bible" for coin collectors the world over with excellent summary of information, on every monarch of Britain. Also brilliant photographs throughout.

AS A METAL DETECTORIST I REGARD THIS AS THE BIBLE WITH EVERY TYPE OF COIN YOU CAN FIND
This is a book i could not be without, Full of information for the collector, and for the finders of all the wide variaties of coins found in the Uk. A must have book, thank you spink/ Seaby's Paul Hewett

First class book.
As with all the previous years this book is what most collectors use it is well presented and very informative I find it says a lot.

All round a reasonable book of information
This has given me a lot more information on coins i thought i new about , even so there are a number of coins like Britannia golden silhouette £2 coins that are not listed.A

indispensable not the latest edition but alot better than my previous 1984 copy, and much cheaper than the new one. Great to be able to pick this up on Ebay
