Limited double 180gm vinyl LP pressing of the digitally remastered edition of this 1993 album. Both Sides shares a similarly introspective atmosphere to Face Value, and features the Top 10 hit 'Both Sides of the Story' as well as further singles in the shape of 'Everyday' and 'We Wait And We Wonder'. Phil Collins gained fame as both the drummer and lead singer for the rock band Genesis, as well as worldwide success as a solo artist. Collins sang the lead vocals on dozens of hit albums and singles in the UK and the US between 1976 and 2010, either solo or with Genesis. Collins is among the best-selling music artists of all time with 33.5 million RIAA-certified albums sold in the US and an estimated 150 million worldwide.[8] He is one of three recording artists (along with Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson) who have sold over 100 million albums worldwide both as solo artists and (separately) as principal members of a band.

    Something different from Phil Colins

    Phil Colins rose to fame from his 4 popular studio Albums, Face Value (1981), Hello, I Must Be Going (1982), No Jacket Required (1985), and But Seriously (1989). Both Sides Now is a bit of a departure from these 4 previous albums. The music is slowed down and maybe a bit more serious than his previous works. Both Sides Now didn't do as well in the charts are previous efforts. Probably because his fans were expecting more of the same. This album is not more of the same, it's kind of a reset and I for one really enjoy it. When you listen to this album on a good system you'll hear subtle musical details along with lyrics that will engage you. It's not so much about pop music like his previous efforts, It's more about engaging the listener into an emotional journey. His previous albums had ...

    Passionate New Release From Mr Phil Collins

    Many of the aging baby boomer musicians that we grew up on, and that defined most all of the music of the day, are coming out of "retirement" and putting out some of their best efforts yet - beautiful meaningful new music. Collins is no different on his new release, "Both Sides". Hints of old solo work and his time with Genesis. Full of passionate sincere songwriting with no attention (nor reason) to pleasing any of the record execs. Highly recommend.

    An underrated album made in home studio. All instruments were played by Phil Collins himself!.. This is not a collection of pop songs album... This is Art Rock! Phil winds up with an album that is quietly compelling Great songs witn awesome audio remastering. Beautiful presentation, inner sleeve pictures, songtext and introduction by the author..
