Better Than the Last One I Had
I have one very tiny for one of my cats. I used to be able to get larger ones, but my veterinarian's office says that they have to accept whatever the manufacturer or supplier sends them; hence, tiny pills. That have to be cut in half. The pill splicer that I was using was virtually useless, so I did some research. This new one is the highest rated, and I attempted to buy it at a local drugstore, but they all carry their own version. So, I ended up buying it from an eBay seller at a more affordable price (not that they're expensive in the first place). It works pretty well, but if you're cutting small pills, you have to place the pill just so - right in the middle of the little groove - for it to work. I'm not 100 percent satisfied, but I'm also convinced that none of the others is any better.

Effective, strong, but slightly risky to use pill cutter, rated B+
Pill cutter, has a sharp razor blade (slightly shielded) could pose a safety issues, (hense 4 not 5 stars) NOT FOR USE by a young person, or one too weak (arthritic) But it is very effective and strong enough to last, works for my husband and me. I would recommend it, with the above comment indluced.

Looks nice but poorly designed.
Easy to use. Has a clear, flexible, plastic strip that acts as a blade guard and slides into place when the cover is opened. It's a great idea! However, after splitting several pills, the blade guard takes a set and no longer wants to slide in place. You can remove the guard but you will find that many of the split pills fall out the bottom of the splitter.

Great Product.
I was very surprised at how sturdy and durable this product seems. Especially for the price. It works perfectly, the rubber grip keeps the pill in place as advertised. Nice one.

This an excellent pill cutter and is of good quality. I just bought this and I love I how easy it for.me to cut my pills in half.

Apex Ultra Pill Splitter
The purpose of a pill splitter is to cut a pill in two, not chase the pieces that shot out the back all over the table and floor. If only the back was closed, this would be a great device. I don’t know what the people who designed this were thinking but the rear underside is completely open and it seems like more often than not the pieces find the opening and out they go.

Good enough
In general it is an excellent pill splitter. It is just not good with small pills. The holder does not close on them.

Splits any kind of pill.
I got this pill splitter to cut my 10mg Lexapro in half so I could cut the dosage down. Since I got it I tried using it on smaller pills and oval pills. The rubber pad keeps the pill from slipping and the V shape guide positions the pill perfectly for the guillotine. LOL I would definitely recommend it to my friends and buy it again.

Title says it all and made of good quality material and cuts small pills and large pills.... Finally got a cutter that won’t cut my small pill into dust.., I would definitely buy this again....
