Went to his programs several X, this tape was too much music, not nearly enough Garrison, it seemed every one who did closeup had very dirty hair, like they did not really care anymore., I gave it to my bro in law who plays dulcimer. Set was good, timing good, just too much music. Will miss him.

Quality Entertainment
I'm not sure why I missed all those years of Prairie Home Companion and got interested just when it was ending, but I needed to see what all the hullabaloo was about so I bought this DVD. I ended up sorry that I did miss all those years! It's kind of hard to summarize what the show and its cast was like, but I know I laughed a lot, was fascinated by the old radio premise (complete with man-made sound effects), and its basic simplicity. I had loved listening to radio programs as a child and found that I again wanted to devote all of my attention on the programs so that I didn't miss a word. Thank you, Garrison Keillor and crew!

Oh, I do miss Garrison Keillor
A great celebration of PHC at 30. Everything you'd want: Great music, great radio drama, and an amazing News From Lake Wobegon that has a 30th anniversary tie-in. Added value? There's nothing quite like being able to see video of the production of a radio program, especially when nobody is playing to the camera.

I've been a fan of A Prairie Home Companion for decades. Now that it's no longer on the air, it's great to have a DVD of one of the episodes.

What a treasure! True Americana from a more sensible era. Garrison Keillor is a gift to America. Those unfamiliar with his radio shows and the fine talent he had from himself and his guests.........too bad for you.
