You Can Fix It ! Henry Contact Springs in Cable Winding Head.
Henry cleaners are pretty tough, right, but after some years, parts will wear out. I had the 'crackling' noisy cable winder. This spring contact kit is to replace your worn out contacts. You WILL need to drill out the rivits that hold in place the existing contacts. The new are assembled with the nuts and bolts provided. Anyone with some patience and common sense can fix this at home. My advice is to fully unwind the cable first. Perhaps take pictures for re-assembly references if you're a little unsure. You'll see why when you come to re-assemble your Henry. It took me about 30 minutes in total to replace my contacts, though I am an Electrical engineer anyway, so I have some savvy with these sort of jobs. I now have a good running Henry [ though a little gray hair] but will no doubt continue for many more years.

Henry Hoover Replacement Rewind Contact Kit
The rewind cable power repair kit is easy to install, downside you have to cut the originals off as they are riveted to the cable recoil drum. The recoil fingers are not like the originals as they have a bronze contact tip on the end of the finger to assist with wear. They are however a good price and well made if you are stuck and need to repair your vacuum, time will tell as how long they last. Still a good price.

Genuine part fixed henry. Quick delivery.
Genuine part, easy to fit into henry, fixed the problem of intermittent power loss when the Henry got bumped.

very cost effective, why buy a new vacuum when it can be repaired easily
watched a u-tube video which shows you how to replace broken one's of these.
