Works great as is, but not if you need to make small adjustments.
The handle gets in the way, making it unable to make adjustments around the 1"to 2-1/2" range. I don't always need to cut a box down by large amounts. I had to remove the handle and had to recess a headless Allen bolt to hold the scoring blade in place so I can move the part that sits on the edge of the box into any position.

Useful, but takes some getting used to
Works good, but you have to have a little patience to learn how to use it, specially if you're using it on small boxes, as in my case. But it's very useful once you learn to work with it.

Save bucks!
This is a great device for sizing cardboard boxes. Saves a lot of waste. You can cut down a larger box and use less filler for example. Also, at some point big boxes get charged much higher postage. This allows you to pare them down and stay under that surcharge.

Easy to use
I like to reuse boxes for shipping so this is great ! No uneven boxes that look like they were through a war ! Handy little item.

For the money you can't go wrong. We use them a lot so they do wear out. after a year or so.
