    Ordering the true 1st edition of this book proved to be an ordeal. It took me four goes to finally land one! It seems for this specific book the automated form filling software used by many sellers puts forward the multiple reprints between 1999 and 2001 as 1st editions. Thankfully this seller provided detailed photos, so I could order in confidence. The book arrived on the 1st day of the delivery window and was very securely boxed up. A happy customer.

    get another editor

    It was too simplistic. A person with even an inkling of knife knowledge already knows most of this material. Too much time spent on memoirs and back in the day events. Recognition for the achievements of others is ok but how about some pointers from each person mentioned (if still alive) or what they may have said in the past. Looks like how to videos may be the best medium for this sort of learning although I believe it could be done. I would include more detail on correcting knife throws that didn't produce blade insertion into the target. Relies too much on trial and error.

    Good Read.

    Great book on throwing. Describes the various styles of throwing knives and tomahawks. Also showed illustrations of popular knives on the market. Very up to date, with sections on no spin throwing and competing throughout the country and world. If you throw knives, it's must read.

    this book teaches you nothing about throwing a knife just a cursory overview does give a good history of the are but that is all!!!!!
