Simple to Program and Use
My garage opener originally came with two remotes. I bought one of these garage remotes about two years ago for a third car I inherited. I found it simple to program and it has held up very well. My mother-in-law checks occasionally checks on our pets and watches the house when we are away. So, we bought her a remote to give her easy access to our home. We now have four remotes programmed to open our garaged door. I takes less than five second to get the remote programmed. My mother-in-law doesn't have to fumble around with key to get into our house. Great value, good replacement
I had Craftsman garage door opener that used the 3 blue buttons remote. For some reason, both remote started to act up. I couldn't get it to work on first press, I had to keep pressing the button and eventually it would open/close my garage door. It got worst when the weather was cold. I contacted SEARS and they want about $70 for new replacement. I searched online and find this product. I was a bit worry at first since it looks totally different than what Craftsman sell. Since it priced reasonable so I gave it a try. It only takes me 2 minutes to set it up. Looked brand new, works great
This remote looked brand new when I got it and it works great. It literally took me less than a minute to program - just the push of a button on the garage door unit, and voila - the remote was programmed. Programmed Instantly. Works Great
Bought this to use with my model 2200 Liftmaster garage door opener after trying to program three 37x models didn't work because they operate with purple learn button openers only on a different frequency. Thankfully, this model worked great with my opener which has a red learn button. I pressed the learn button then the button on this remote and, voila, works great. I recommend this remote. We were without remotes for 2 years So nice now. Tricky as there are 3-4 code types. Get reset button COLOR first then go to Liftmaster web page for part number. Sears, LiftMaster, and Chamberlain are all same. This 1 button one is fine for us and most people. Only if you want to open 2 or more garage doors do you need more buttons. They can be for dip switches (early 90's) or Security+315mhz, Security+390mhz(this one), or a newer "smart" one. My button is ORANGE. If you can't figure it out there is a universal one (higher cost) that does all of them but may meed a lot of programming to work.
