    How much is the Pool up to?

    One of the Best movies that shows the US storming the beaches of Normandy and the losses we took to gain it. It follows a small band of troops led by Tom Hanks., going to find the last of five brothers who all been killed in action.

    Saving Ryan’s Privates

    When this was released, the main talking point was the graphic realism and unrelenting violence throughout the film. Truth be told, there was only really 2 points where the bloodshed really goes over the top. The beginning and the end. The acting is superb and the cinematography is great, but if you cut out around 30 minutes in the middle, it would have been a far better motion picture. Just to prove my point, “Shakespeare In Love” won the Academy Award for Best Picture that year.

    Excellent movie

    This is one of my very favorite movies and I always end up crying by the end. Action packed scenes which depict the real horrors of war as well as the human side of being in a war. It shows all the feelings, doubts, honor, and bravery that men put in horrid situations react to and endure. If you want a gritty, human war movie this is it.

    It is a good, but not for the kids.

    I said "not entertaining" because it's a serious gripping realistic story of war. To me, it's not exactly easy to watch. I don't think it was produced for lounging for easy entertainment.
