Comprehensive
I bought The Hits 1 & 2 together. They're a quite comprehensive guide to Prince's music, but if you only knew him thru his singles, especially in the UK, you'd think there was quite a bit of "padding". Personally I think it's excellent, but for the uninitiated they could have made a great single album.
