Good Filter Assembly

Water water everywhere
Ethanol kills outboards. The government thought it was doing the right thing by mandating and subsidizing ethanol production, but instead they made a huge blunder and now we have to live with it, and it is expected to get worse. Treating fuel with Star-tron or another ‘stabilizer’ is a start, but it won’t be 100% effective. A water separating system like this unit from Atwood is an inexpensive means of providing additional protection for your investment, especially if you run your boat in southern high humidity states or up north as I do until the lakes and rivers freeze, where daily temperature fluctuations of 30 to 40 degrees are common. Adding condensation to the already compromised ethanol fuel is a bomb waiting to go off. Buy and install one of these filtration units...... you won’t regret it. There are many you-tube vids about this type of filter and it’s an eye opener when they dump a cup or more of water out of the canister after just a few tanks of gas.
